About Amanda Ryan
From an early age, country singer-songwriter Amanda Ryan has been immersed in music. Disciplined with years of intensive guitar and vocal training, Amanda wasted little time in recording her talents, and released her first EP on iTunes, Just Me (2007) at the age of 16. Several songs from her striking debut caught the ear of music supervisors and show producers at the CW and MTV Networks, resulting in a half dozen key placements on multiple episodes of hit shows including: 90210, The Hills, and The Beautiful Life. In addition to these shows, Amanda was commissioned to compose and perform theme songs for a feature film entitled, Grand Prix: A Winning Tale.
Amanda’s second iTunes EP of well-crafted songs were released on Escaping Australia (2009). Appearances on Dish Network’s National Music Channel, YMCTV, and a popular RAWsession video garnered further acclaim. Endorsements from Elixir Strings, Blue Microphones and Breedlove Guitars were secured with Breedlove presenting the talented young songstress with her own custom designed, handcrafted guitar.
Amanda’s attention was focused on an exciting new project in late 2012. Writing a song for the hit A&E show, Duck Dynasty proved to be a rewarding experience. After writing/performing “The Duck Dynasty Song” for the show, producers commissioned Amanda to write 16 more songs recapping each episode for Season 3 of Duck Dynasty. A&E sent a film crew out to film Amanda acoustically performing each of the songs. These videos became their online marketing for that season. Two of Amanda’s songs/music videos are featured on the Season 3 DVD online and in stores. Gaining fans from this opportunity, Amanda’s social media numbers have been rapidly growing. She now has just under one million views on YouTube.
In October 2014, Amanda received some additional exciting news. “The Duck Dynasty Song” was placed on The Top 25 Country Songs of Faith. This album features many country music veterans including, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood and many others.
